Beer Albion 1st’s remain in second position in the Devon Football league after a superb 4-0 win away at Ottery St Mary 1st’s last Wednesday evening. It was sweet revenge for the Fishermen who had surprisingly lost 2-1 at home to the Otters last month writes Richard Honnor.
Although Ottery made a good start to the match, Beer soon asserted control and opened the scoring on 32 minutes through George Richards. Centre Forward Josh French who had a fine match scored Beer’s second goal midway through the 2nd half and the game was made safe by two late goals from Aaron Daniels and Finley Rooke respectively.
